Job summary

Flow Sports Personnel Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a client to appoint a Nursery Room Leader. You will oversee day-to-day operations of an allocated room, ensuring a happy, safe and stimulating environment for children and staff development.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent), an enhanced DBS, and a commitment to delivering high-quality early years learning experiences with opportunities for career progression and staff training.

Qualifications

• Qualified nursery room leader with NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent).
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Strong understanding of child development and ability to plan diverse learning experiences.
• Ability to train and develop staff and maintain a safe, happy environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the allocated room.
• Ensure children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
• Train and develop staff, imparting knowledge and skills.

Nursery Room Leader

A qualified nursery room leader responsible for the day to day running of an allocated area or room within the nursery. You must be NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent. An important role in training and developing staff by imparting knowledge and skills. You will be required to ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. You will also need to have a sound understanding of a child's developmental requirements and to provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet children's all round development. Successful Nursery Room Leader will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
