Job Title: Senior Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Room Manager

Located near Aylesbury, The Wendover Day Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group and is seeking a highly experienced senior practitioner to support our busy baby room. The position offers a 38-hour workweek, with a salary of up to £33,572 depending on experience, along with a fantastic benefits package and onsite parking.

Our purpose-built nursery in Wendover features a bespoke sensory room, drama and art studio, and ample secure outdoor space with countryside views. We prioritize natural resources and a child-led philosophy with a 'free flow' design to maximize outdoor learning. We provide excellent training opportunities, support, and facilities to help our team deliver outstanding care for children.

Requirements
  • Lead and support the Baby Room team, ensuring stimulating and purposeful experiences suitable for children’s ages and stages of development.
  • Maintain the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times.
  • Support team training needs to uphold best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
  • Qualified at Level 3 or above, with at least 4 years of nursery experience and a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
