Job description

We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery setting in Battersea, SW8 London .

Position Details:

* Job Title: Nursery Room Leader
* Location: Battersea, SW8 London
* Salary: Up to �30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
* Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
* Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the daily running of the nursery room, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Support, mentor, and supervise room staff, ensuring high-quality practice and professional development
* Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and team members
* Monitor and record children's progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times

What We're Looking For:

* Level 3 or above in Childcare/Early Years qualification
* Previous experience as a Room Leader or in a senior nursery role
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* A caring, proactive, and professional attitude
