Nurse Seekers are recruiting a Room Leader for a quality and friendly Nursery based near Truro, Cornwall! The right candidate must ensure a high standard of physical, social, emotional, and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS
2. Manage a small team of staff members
3. Be able to implement the EYFS into activities
4. Understand the importance of assessment and ensure all children receive the statutory progress checks required
5. Maintain records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers, and other professionals
6. Be involved in out of working hours’ activities, e.g. training, staff meetings, etc.
7. Build strong relationships with the team, the children, and parents/carers
