Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years / Childcare required.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a Day Nursery.
  • At least 1 year's experience leading teams.

Our clients in a large and busy setting in central Leatherhead are looking for an experienced senior practitioner to work alongside, as their deputy, the Room Leader in the very busy Baby Unit. You will support and oversee the large and active room. The position involves working a day week, with a salary of approximately £27k and attractive benefits.

Requirements

  • Ideally, you will have a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years / Childcare
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a Day Nursery
  • At least 1 year's experience leading and supporting teams
  • The ability to inspire, energise, and support others
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping others learn
  • Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted standards and requirements
