We are working with a Nursery in Liphook, Hampshire, that is looking for a Level 3 or above nursery practitioner to join their team and work across all age groups in the nursery. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours a week across 4 days, with a salary of up to £24,750 per annum.

The nursery would consider a 3-day week for the right candidate.

The nursery is relatively new, influenced by Steiner principles, providing children with opportunities to learn through a play-based environment. The chosen practitioner should embrace this approach and support children's play and development.

As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Providing high standards of quality childcare and education.
  2. Maintaining health, safety, safeguarding, and security measures.
  3. Being aware of and acting in accordance with current legislation, policies, and procedures.
  4. Contributing to a programme of activities suitable for the children's age range.
  5. Developing and maintaining good relationships with parents, carers, and family members.
  6. Keeping children's files up to date, including photographs and observations.
  7. Assisting with planning activities following the EYFS guidelines.
  8. Providing a high-quality environment that meets the needs of children from diverse backgrounds and stages of development.
  9. Working as part of the team, showing initiative and creativity to foster a nurturing environment.
  10. Sharing responsibility for health, safety, and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
  11. Adhering to all policies and procedures.
