Position: Nursery Practitioner - Level 3/2

Location: SE3, Blackheath

Salary: £23,000+

Start Date: ASAP


We are currently hiring for a Nursery Practitioner in our wonderful setting in Blackheath. Our well-established nursery has been open since 2012 and also offers 'musical and performing arts' classes alongside the educational curriculum. We would love to bring in a nursery practitioner who is full of energy, passionate about the early years, and can bring a warm and positive attitude into the setting to work alongside our other amazing members of staff.


Your Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver the highest standard of care and education.
  2. Support and carry out 1-2-1 meetings with parents regarding your key children's development.
  3. Write daily and weekly observations on the children under your care.
  4. Ensure internal policies and procedures and legislation from governing bodies are adhered to.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Policies and Procedures through individual impact statements and practice.
  6. Understand all safeguarding procedures and make the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) aware of any concerns regarding the safeguarding of our children, families, or colleagues.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Level 2 or 3 in childcare.
  2. Understanding of the EYFS.
  3. At least 1 year of experience within a nursery setting.
  4. A positive and caring attitude.
