Base pay range

Position: Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner


Location: Camden


Salary: £13-£16 per hour

Type: Part time, contract

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming nursery in Camden, seeking a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team.

This is a part-time role for during school hours, term time only, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking work-life balance, currently studying or to work around their own childcare commitments.

About the Nursery:

Set in the heart of Camden, this small and inclusive nursery is deeply embedded in the local community. The setting prides itself on providing a nurturing, home-from-home environment where every child is valued and encouraged to flourish.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for your own group of key children, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, sharing updates on progress and milestones
  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of the nursery and work collaboratively with the wider team
  • Maintain accurate observations and assessments using the nursery’s tracking system

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in an early years setting
  • A passion for nurturing and inspiring young children
  • A good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities
  • A positive, proactive, and caring approach to working with children and families
