Qualifications

  • Experience in working with children, especially those with SEND/ASL needs.
  • Knowledge of EYFS framework.
  • Ability to plan and assess children's progress.

About our Nursery

Busy Bees Day Nursery and Preschool at Cheam Nonsuch are proud to hold Ofsted rating GOOD. The warm and friendly team look forward to welcoming a new SEN Specialist Nursery Practitioner, assisting them in giving our children the best start in life. This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week.

Our purpose-built nursery has direct access to gardens. We have a friendly, welcoming, long-term staff team and management team with over 10 years of service. The nursery is just a short walk from Cheam station.

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner

  • As a keyworker, you will ensure each child's needs are met, including supporting parents with SEND/ASL needs.
  • Take ownership of observations, assessments, and planning for your key children in line with EYFS, providing developmentally challenging next steps.
  • Encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
