Working as a Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse / Early Years Educator you will play a vital role delivering outstanding early years education and care for children aged 0-5, ensuring their holistic development within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

As a Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse / Early Years Educator you will be responsible for planning engaging activities,acting as a Key Person, and maintaining detailed learning journeys to foster each child's individual progress in a safe and stimulating environment.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse / Early Years Educator include:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development across all seven areas of the EYFS
  • Act as a designated Key Person for a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families, and observing/tracking their individual progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date learning journeys/records for key children, sharing these regularly with parents/carers
  • Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive environment that encourages children's exploration, independence, and positive behaviour

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Passionate about making learning fun; your EYFS knowledge and Key Person experience enables you to inspire young children to reach their full potential
  • Naturally nurturing; you care about others and their well-being and the children in your care feel happy and safe
  • An advocate for partnership working; you thrive as part of a team environment, and you enjoy building meaningful and respectful relationships with others
  • A full and relevant early years qualification at level 2 or above is essential for this role. If you are not early years qualified, we may have an alternative role available to suit you
