Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Nurse

Job Description:

Colourbox Montessori School are currently recruiting for two outstanding qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our nursery. This role is a full-time position with the opportunity for continuous professional development and additional training and promotion, where your main duties will be nurturing and caring for the development of children from 3 months to 5 years old. If you love working with children, or see yourself in a role that allows you to be creative and share your skills with others, this could be the place for you.

We are recruiting for the following roles:

• Qualified practitioner Level 2 or Level 3 across all age groups (3+ months to 5 years old)
• Forest School Leader with a full and relevant childcare qualification
• Deputy Room Leader in the 2-3 year old age range with a relevant childcare qualification

We have an enhanced rate of pay for those with Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Teacher Status or those with a Montessori qualification - please apply for details!

Duties:

• Having a key group of children, observing, and recording their development.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
• Building positive and successful relationships with colleagues, children, and parents.
• In-house Montessori and CPD training.

Requirements of the role:

• Living and working in the UK with full rights to do so.
• A Full and Relevant Level 2+ or Level 3+ Childcare qualification.
• An enhanced DBS check (we will apply for this).
• Knowledge of Safeguarding and EYFS.
• First aid, Basic food hygiene and safeguarding training desirable, but training is provided.
• Previous experience in early years desirable, but not essential.
