Job summary

Leeds Mencap, based in Leeds, is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for our Toddler and Pre-School Playrooms. This permanent, term-time role is 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a setting rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

You will join a supportive team with specialist training, outstanding facilities, and leadership guidance from a skilled Childcare Manager. Help children with diverse needs learn, develop and thrive in a unique specialist playroom.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Are passionate about helping children learn, develop and reach their full potential.
• Believe every child deserves the very best start in life, whatever their background or ability.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and are keen to learn and develop your practice.

Responsibilities

• Support children with a wide range of needs to learn, develop and thrive.
• Work with toddlers and pre-school playrooms to deliver high quality early years education.

Salary : £13.32 per hour (£26,040 per annum, pro rata for term-time working)

Annual Leave: Our annual leave entitlement is 36 days per year, including public holidays. Holiday entitlement is calculated pro rata for part-time and term-time-only contracts. For term-time-only posts, annual leave must be taken outside term time.
