Your new company

This fantastic nursery located in the Hove area is looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their expanding team. The organisation has nurseries in multiple locations across Brighton and Hove and is looking for a flexible Nursery Practitioner to work with them. The nurseries all hold Good to Outstanding Ofsted ratings. They are open from 07:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, all year round except for one week at Christmas. The nursery is seeking qualified staff who hold NQT Level 3 in Childcare and Education or an equivalent qualification. A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate is also required.

Your new role

You will work as a nursery practitioner at the Hove nursery, assisting with daily operations, supporting children, and using your initiative to help them succeed. Multiple roles are available, with hours as follows:

• Flexible hours to suit you
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What you'll need to succeed

You must have an NVQ Level 3 Child Care Qualification and recent experience (within the last 2 years) in a nursery, primary, or pre-prep environment, with a reference to verify this. A clean enhanced DBS check on the update service is required, or the nursery will conduct one for you. Flexibility and a fun personality that engages children are essential. You should have a good understanding of children's development and behavior management.
