Job Description:

Nursery Bank Staff required across Hailsham, Heathfield and Eastbourne

*competitive pay starting from £ per hour *

Your new nursery

You will be working for Hays as early years bank staff where you will be placed in various settings. You will work with children aged 3 months to 5 years, tailored to your preferences. You can work in your desired locations across Eastbourne, Hailsham, and Heathfield, fitting around your commitments. When nurseries are open, we have plenty of work to offer, allowing you to work as much or as little as you need.

Your new role

As nursery bank staff, you will support early years settings by assisting nursery staff, helping set up and tidy the rooms, playing with children, and ensuring a safe environment at all times. You won't be expected to complete learning diaries, providing a great opportunity to gain confidence and develop new skills.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, you will be a level 2 or level 3 qualified early years practitioner. However, we also consider unqualified nursery assistants with recent relevant experience. You should be reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic; willingness to help in the setting is essential.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive hourly salary including holiday pay. Support will be provided to help you settle into the nursery routines. You will have set hours for a fixed period, allowing you to plan your commitments or childcare as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to work around your schedule in your preferred location while gaining experience and confidence working with children.
