Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries in Welwyn Garden City is seeking an Early Years Educator to support the development of young children within our outstanding nursery. You will help create a safe, stimulating environment and deliver the Bee Curious curriculum, working with colleagues to provide high-quality early education.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 in Early Years, possess strong communication and organisational skills, and are passionate about children's social, emotional and academic growth.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Experience with children under 5.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver EYFS activities.

Responsibilities

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: prepare materials and arrange rooms for learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: plan and deliver EYFS-aligned activities for physical, emotional, intellectual and social development.
• Key Person Role: oversee children's development and build strong family connections.

What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
