Job summary

Busy Bees in the UK is seeking an Early Years Educator to contribute to high-quality education and development for children. The role covers 4 days with hours from 7.30 to 6, offering growth opportunities within a leading nursery group.

You will work with children under five, implementing the Bee Curious curriculum and collaborating with a supportive team. The setting is child-centered, with ample professional development and a strong community ethos.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience working with children under 5.
  • Good communication and strong organisational skills; ability to apply knowledge of child development.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, stimulating environment and prepare rooms for activities.
  • Lead educational activities aligned with EYFS to support all aspects of child development.
  • Fulfill the key person role and maintain strong family connections.

Trowbridge, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, has a capacity of 100 children spread across three base rooms: Babies, Toddlers, and Preschool. Role Responsibilities:
What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:
  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children’s growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
Required Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
  • Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
