NURSERY PRACTITIONER – LEVEL 3

Location: Tops Babbacombe, Torquay, Devon

Pay rate: Up to £12.68 per hour

Contracted Hours: 35 hours per week

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Nursery Practitioners will be working in the Explorers room and look after the educational and social development of babies and young children up to the age of five. Their primary duties include providing children with a safe environment to learn, helping them to develop basic social and behavioural skills, and engaging them in age-appropriate play activities. In joining us, you’ll also become part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth, and kindness to all those who work in our Nurseries.

Tops Babbacombe Nursery is a 50 place Day Nursery & Pre-School situated in Babbacombe Road, Torquay. The nursery runs a number of extra-curricular activities including Hi 5s before school and after school club for school children up to the age of 8, Boogie Mites, and much more!

A minimum of a Level 3 in Early Years care and Education is essential.

• Creative skills and imagination to provide educational activities to children that can ensure the child is happy and learning in a rewarding environment.

• Personal skills – to be personable and approachable with children’s parents, as our parent relationships are vital to helping you understand how to keep children happy and supported, both in nursery and home life.
