Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries in Shrewsbury, an Ofsted-rated Outstanding facility with a capacity of 119, is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. You will create a safe, stimulating environment, plan activities, and support children's development in line with EYFS, while building strong family connections.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience with children under 5 and genuine interest in early childhood education.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with ability to plan and deliver activities.

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: prepare materials and arrange rooms to support growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities aligned with EYFS to support physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.
• Key Person role: oversee children's development and build strong family connections.

What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
