Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking an Early Years Educator for its Sevenoaks Riverhead nursery. You will foster intellectual, social, and emotional development, delivering the Bee Curious curriculum and working within an Ofsted-rated Good setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, supporting children under 5, and delivering high-quality educational experiences across EYFS, with a commitment to professional growth and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Level 3 EY Education required.

About Our Nursery

Sevenoaks Riverhead, rated Good by Ofsted, is a purpose-built nursery with a capacity of 93 children, featuring a spacious two-floor layout and a large garden for outdoor play. Our nursery has strong links with the local community, including the nearby library, and is conveniently located close to Dunton Green and Sevenoaks train station, with good bus routes available. What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
