Job summary

Busy Bees East Keswick is seeking an Early Years Educator to help foster the intellectual, social and emotional development of children in a nurturing setting. You will contribute to our Bee Curious curriculum and support high-quality learning across babies to preschoolers.

The role is based at Busy Bees East Keswick, a purpose-built nursery rated Good by Ofsted with a 100-child capacity. You’ll join a team committed to care, development and family partnerships, with strong opportunities for

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Experience working with children under 5 is preferred.
• Clear communication and strong organisational skills essential.

• Lead Educational Activities: plan and deliver EYFS-aligned activities.

Busy Bees East Keswick, rated "Good" by Ofsted, has a capacity of 100 children and is situated in a purpose-built nursery with stunning views of the countryside, providing the perfect backdrop for your child’s ongoing development. What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children’s growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
