Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner for our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Abington Grove, Northampton. The role focuses on caring for children, supporting staff, and promoting high standards of care and education in line with EYFS.

You will join a friendly, child‑centred team with strong progression opportunities and a competitive hourly rate. Regular pay reviews are provided, along with extensive benefits and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers

What Will You Be Doing

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
