Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd. is seeking an Early Years Educator for our Meopham nursery. You will support the intellectual, social and emotional development of children, delivering the Bee Curious curriculum and contributing to a high-quality learning environment.

Ideal candidates will have Level 3 (or higher) in Early Years Education and experience with children under 5. The role involves collaboration with families and the wider Busy Bees team to nurture curiosity and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children under 5 in an educational setting.
• Strong communication with children, families, and team members.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, stimulating learning environment for young children.
• Lead age-appropriate activities to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Build strong relationships with children and their families as the key person.

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
