Job summary

Busy Bees Bamber Bridge, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, is seeking an Early Years Educator to support children’s development within our Bee Curious curriculum. You’ll work in a welcoming setting, collaborating with colleagues to create engaging, safe learning experiences for young learners.

The role emphasizes building strong family links, planning age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS, and contributing to a supportive team that values professional growth and high-quality early education.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience working with children under 5.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: prepare rooms and activities that support learning.
• Lead Educational Activities aligned with EYFS to promote physical, emotional, intellectual and social development.
• Act as Key Person, supporting development and building family connections.

What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
