Salary and benefits:

• £26,500–£30,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the nursery:

The nursery combines the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach. Children are encouraged to explore their interests, develop ideas and build independence through play and meaningful experiences.

Creative spaces and outdoor learning give you opportunities to contribute your own ideas. Previous Forest School or Reggio Emilia experience is welcome but is not essential.

Your responsibilities:

About you:

• A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
• A caring, reliable approach and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Enthusiasm for child-led, creative and outdoor learning.
• Ability to travel reliably to West Grinstead, RH13 8LY.

Previous nursery experience would be valuable. Your approach and commitment to children’s development matter; experience of a particular educational approach is not required.

Hours and location

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week on a rota. Specific shifts and room allocation will be discussed during recruitment.
