Busy Bees Heworth in York is looking for an Early Years Educator to help children develop across learning areas. You will plan engaging activities, support a safe and inclusive environment, and act as a Key Person building strong relationships with children and their families.

The role offers a supportive team, access to the Bee Curious curriculum, and practical professional development with wide opportunities across the UK’s leading nursery group.

About our Nursery
Busy Bees Heworth is an Ofsted-rated "Good" nursery with a capacity of 45 children, housed in a charming redbrick building. The nursery features cozy rooms designed for playing and learning in a secure environment where children can develop new skills and thrive. There is also a secure playground that encourages toddlers and preschoolers to explore and spark their imaginations. Located in the leafy northern suburbs of York on Heworth Green, the nursery is accessible via the A1036 and multiple nearby bus stops, including Monk Bridge, Eboracum Way, and Heworth Inn. York train station is about a 30-minute walk away. The facility also offers free parking for added convenience.

Required Qualifications: What We’re Looking For:

• Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
• Experience working with children under 5.
• Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

You may have previous experience working with children, ideally as anEarly Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Nurse.
