Early Years Nursery Practitioner and Senior

We are currently looking for two enthusiastic staff members for our new fabulous, outstanding-rated children's day nursery and preschool in Hemel Hempstead. Our beautiful setting features stunning grounds and uniquely designed classrooms, creating a warm and welcoming environment for both staff and children.

We seek two motivated individuals with a passion for developing young minds. Candidates should bring their own experiences and be eager to expand their knowledge through continued learning.

We are hiring for:

• Senior Room Lead (Level 3 or higher)
• Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or higher)

Hours:

Working over 4 or 5 days, 36 or 40 hours per week. (Open to discussion)

Salary:

Negotiable, based on hours, experience, and qualifications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist nursery management in providing high-quality childcare daily.
• Create a positive learning environment offering choices, experiences, independence, and meeting all children’s needs.
• Possess key person responsibilities and carry out daily and individual planning.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and caring environment for children's well-being.
• Work effectively within a team, with senior staff leading within the team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Passionate about childcare and supporting children's achievements, play, and safety.
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Previous experience working with children under five.
• Qualified at NNEB/NVQ Level 2 or higher in childcare or equivalent.
• Ability to work well in a team.
