Nursery Practitioner and Room Leader

We currently have an opportunity for 2 people to join our team at our NEW children's day nursery and preschool in Banstead, Surrey. Successful candidates can either be Level 2 or Level 3 qualified.

Senior Practitioner or Room lead must hold a Level 3 or higher.

Room Leader will be looking after the daily running of the preschool room with children from 2.5-rising 4 years.

Main responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner and Room Leader

• Provide a positive and happy learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children's needs.
• Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
• Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
• Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare. Room Leader will be in charge of the daily running of the preschool.

The ideal candidate will;

• Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
• Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
• Be qualified to Level 2, 3 or equivalent in childcare (desirable)
• Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages (desirable)
