Job Description

The Early Years Teacher has a duty of care for all children in their care to safeguard and promote their welfare.

They will work as part of a team to ensure all legal and curriculum requirements are met, in line with Inspire Montessori Schools policies and procedures.

Good communication skills are essential, involving listening, questioning, and understanding children and colleagues. They will share information timely and collaborate to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.

A good knowledge of child development is crucial to meet each child's individual needs. The teacher will participate in planning activities to create a stimulating environment that provides high-quality childcare, working closely with colleagues and parents.

They will undertake necessary health and safety training, follow safe working practices, and comply with policies. Reporting concerns related to safeguarding and well-being is mandatory.

The role includes planning and prioritizing activities based on Montessori principles, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining high standards during internal audits.

The teacher will deliver quality childcare, communicate with line managers about progress, and demonstrate a commitment to professional development. Attendance at staff meetings and training is expected.

They will be assigned as a key person for a group of children, ensuring their safety and building relationships with parents. The role involves supervising visitors and staff, resolving issues, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

All staff are expected to support equality policies, support safe working practices, and be punctual. Attendance should be above 80% to ensure consistent care.

Nursery Manager Role

Wembley Park Montessori is seeking an experienced Baby Unit Manager for their nursery of 36 places.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with shifts between 8 am and 6 pm, including at least one half-day per week.

Salary ranges from £24,960 to £30,000 depending on experience.

  • Positive role model, with extensive knowledge of EYFS.
  • Excellent communication skills, ICT proficiency, and a current DBS check.
