Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Wembley Park Montessori is recruiting for an experienced Baby Unit Manager to join their busy, yet warm and friendly nursery of 36 places.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week across shifts between 8am-6pm, with at least one half-day off per week.

Salary: £24,960 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Leading and collaborating within a team to ensure smooth nursery operations

  • Ensuring compliance with legislation, EYFS, and Ofsted requirements
  • Familiarity with nursery policies and procedures
  • Engaging with parents and building positive relationships
  • Using the nursery app 'Blossom Educational' (training provided)
  • Deputising for managers as needed

Candidate requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 in Childcare or Montessori Diploma
  • Experience leading a room in a nursery setting with children under 5
  • Experience in a Montessori environment is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of the current EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive role model and team player
  • Current and clear DBS certificate
