Job description

Are you a Nursery Assistant or Early Years Practitioner looking for your next challenge in a rewarding, specialist setting?
Do you have a playful, nurturing approach and a passion for supporting children with additional needs?

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our specialist SEN school, working part-time (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) with pupils aged 4 to 19 who have Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Complex Needs.

About the Role:

  • Support children and young people across a range of ages and developmental stages
  • Create engaging, sensory-rich learning experiences tailored to individual needs
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Provide personal care and assist with specialist equipment (full training provided if required)

About You:

  • Experience in early years, nursery, or similar childcare settings
  • A creative, playful approach to learning and interaction
  • Patient, adaptable, and confident working with pupils with additional needs
  • Passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference
