Job summary

Nuffy Bear Day Nursery, part of Nuffield Health, is hiring a Nursery Nurse/EY Practitioner Level 2 at our Brondesbury nursery. The role is permanent, full-time, and offers a competitive annual salary of £27,248 with a 40-hour week.

You will work in a supportive team to provide care from 3 months to 5 years, promoting health, wellbeing and education while communicating closely with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Level 2 EY Practitioner qualification or equivalent.
• Paediatric First Aid preferred but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check is required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the small team at the nursery.
• Deliver full day care, sessional care and pre-school for ages 3 months to 5 years.
• Support high-quality care, education, health and wellbeing.

Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking an Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner level 2 to be based at our nursery located in our Nuffield Health gym.

As an Level 2 EY Practitioner, you already understand how to communicate with young children and you want to work in a nursery setting. Ideally, you have a Paediatric First Aid qualification, but this isn’t essential. As part of your application for this role, you will require an enhanced DBS check.

Ideally you will be qualified to level 2 Childcare studies with some childcare experience, however we offer perships should you want to develop your career.

As an Assistant Practitioner, you will:
