Job description

Overview

We are looking to recruit two full time Early Years Practitioners to work in our Nursery weekdays during term time from 8.00 am to 3.30 pm on a fixed term contract from 3 November to the end of the Summer Term 2026.

Responsibilities

• Welcome children into a happy and vibrant atmosphere that encourages, stimulates and supports development throughout the important first years of education.
• Provide attentive childcare within a safe and nurturing learning environment, allowing children to flourish as individuals whilst developing a sense of mutual respect and compassion.
• Support learning indoors and outdoors with a wide range of activities that inspire exploration and help children discover their own passions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities; monitor and record the development of the children in your care, including progression from Lower Nursery to Upper Nursery.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Early Years childcare.
• Experience of working in a Nursery setting.
