Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a private day nursery in Sheffield to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner. The role involves supporting children from the early years age range, delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework, and helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in Sheffield that is looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner. The nursery provides a warm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop through play and exploration, with a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality early years education.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner on a contract basis, with opportunities for an Immediate Start or September start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will work across all nursery rooms, supporting children from the early years age range, delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework and helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working within a UK nursery or early years setting
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
• Flexibility to work across all nursery rooms as required
