North Curry CofE Primary School is hiring a Nursery Practitioner to support children aged 6 months to 4 years at Huish Nurseries @ North Curry Primary School in Taunton, Somerset. The role focuses on a warm, inclusive environment, activity planning, progress observation, safeguarding, and parent communication.

The post is permanent/part-time, 20 hours per week, with starts ASAP and a commitment to high standards of care and education.

If so, we would love to hear from you!**About Us:**Huish Nurseries @ North Curry Primary School is a well-established, friendly nursery dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for children aged 6 months - 4 years old, open 50 weeks of the year from 8:00am- 6:00pm Monday to Friday.We believe in creating a safe, stimulating, and fun environment where children can explore, learn, and develop at their own pace.We are looking for candidates who are able to:* Provide a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for children and families.* Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's developmental milestones.* Observe, assess, and record children's progress to ensure they are reaching their full potential.* Promote positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment.* Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating setting, adhering to health and safety policies.* Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures of the nursery* Work collaboratively and enthusiastically with a team to ensure high standards of care and education.* Communicate effectively with parents/carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.**Requirements:*** Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).* GCSEs in Maths and English are essential.* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.* Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.* Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach.* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.* Paediatric first aid, a current safeguarding certificate and a food hygiene certificate are desirable.**Hours:** 20 hours per week, all year-round.
