Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner looking for a fulfilling role in a warm and welcoming nursery setting?
We're currently looking for a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a lovely nursery in South Shields. This is a great opportunity to work within a supportive team that puts children's development and wellbeing at the heart of everything they do.
Job Type: Temporary/supply with potential for longer-term placement
Location: South Shields
Setting: Private Day Nursery
Hours: Flexible hours available (full-time or part-time, term-time or all year round)
Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
Follow nursery safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Promote children's personal, social, and emotional development
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
Good understanding of the EYFS and child development
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
Friendly, professional, and reliable approach
Paediatric First Aid (desirable but not essential)
