Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join a Scarborough school. The role covers EYFS and primary support, with a focus on learning, development and wellbeing. Start ASAP on a full-time contract, term-time only, in a welcoming environment.

You will work with teachers and staff to deliver engaging activities, support 1:1 and small groups, promote wellbeing and safeguarding, and help children build confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in EYFS, nursery or primary settings.
• Relevant childcare, education or Teaching Assistant qualification, or suitable experience.
• Warm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Confident in supporting learning and development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.
• Good safeguarding and child protection understanding.

Responsibilities
