Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in early years settings.
  • Knowledge of early years EYFS framework preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote high standards of care and education within the nursery.
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with day-to-day duties.
  • Allocate children to keycarers and ensure EYFS requirements are met.
  • Provide feedback to parents/carers about their child.
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers.
  • Develop positive working relationships with staff and families.

What will you be doing:
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
