Job description

Our Kiddi Caru Nursery in Plympton, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a Nursery Practitioner (lunch cover) with Level 2 or above in Early Years (20 hours per week, working from 11am to 3pm) to join our team. You’ll be working hard to care for, support, share stories, and have fun to meet the needs of our children.

  • What will you be doing:

    • Promoting high standards of quality within the nursery regarding environment, resources, and experiences
    • Assuming key carer responsibilities for designated children
    • Providing rich and stimulating experiences suitable for children’s ages and stages
    • Supporting children’s activities and learning
    • Maintaining effective day-to-day management in the absence of leadership
    • Ensuring practice meets the Early Years Foundation Stage standards
    • Mentoring students and unqualified staff to ensure high-quality childcare
