Job summary

Ruddington Day Nursery, part of Grandir UK, is seeking an empathetic Early Years Practitioner to support children and nurture their curiosity in a Forest School setting near Nottingham.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality in the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff daily
• Deploy staff to meet required standards in rooms
• Implement keycarer procedures; allocate to keycarers

We're an established Forest School set in the picturesque village of Ruddington, Nottingham. Our facilities are designed to offer a blend of comfort, safety, and natural beauty. Our indoor environments are bright and spacious, great for purposeful learning. Our nursery is renowned for its beautiful big garden and spacious grounds overlooking serene horse fields.

What will you be doing

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practiceand provision in the nurserymeets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
