Nursery Practitioners Needed – Newcastle

Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of nurseries and early years settings across Newcastle, and we are currently recruiting passionate practitioners to join our team.

Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas
Start Date: Ongoing (Immediate and future roles available)
Position: Nursery Practitioner – Full-time, Part-time, and Flexible Supply Roles
Pay: Competitive hourly/daily rates (based on experience and role)

  • Support children aged 0–5 in their early learning and development

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework

  • Promote a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment

  • Work closely with other staff and parents to support children’s needs

  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and behaviour management policies

  • Relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years)

  • Experience working in nursery or early years settings

  • A warm, friendly, and approachable attitude

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting early childhood development

  • Paediatric Firs Aid is preferred but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
