The Role – What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children aged 0–5 years in their learning, development, and overall well-being. Your responsibilities will include:

Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where all children feel secure and valued

Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

Monitoring and recording children's progress through observations and assessments

Building strong relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues

Supporting children with personal care routines (feeding, changing, toileting) as required

Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being

Ensuring all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed consistently

Collaborating with the wider nursery team to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained

What We’re Looking For – Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)

Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting

A good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding policies

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

A warm, caring, and patient nature

Commitment to promoting high standards of care and education

A proactive attitude and willingness to continue professional development
