A superb Nursery in Beckenham is pleased to announce that they are recruiting for the position of Nursery Practitioner due to their every growing number of children. This role is for and experienced person with passion, great communication skills, confidence and motivation to work as part of our strong, long standing team. The position is full time, to ensure the consistency for the children.

About the Nursery
The Nursery offers quality day care, catering for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. They want the children to flourish in an enjoyable and learning environment, whilst giving parents reassuring confidence that their child’s carers are devoted to quality teaching.

About the role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Keep a record of the children’s progress to share with parents and other carers
• Create fun and educational activities for the children
• Build and maintain relationships with parents and other carers
• Providing support to other nursery staff members
• Ensure the environment meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and medical requirements
• Advising the Nursery Manager about concerns relating to a child or parent

About you
To be successful for the role of Nursery Practitioner, you must have / be:

• Qualification in Childcare (level 2 or higher)
• A Clear DBS
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Safeguarding knowledge
• Able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work

The Nursery is also willing to interview candidates who are looking to do a childcare apprenticeship who do not need the Childcare qualification but will need a clear DBS. They would love the opportunity to meet all of you and discuss the great position they have available for you.

About the hours & rewards
The role of Nursery Practitioner is full time Monday to Friday and there is a salary on offer of £24,000 to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
