Are you an experienced or Qualified Nursery Practitioner/ EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a EYFS school role?

Location: North Liverpool area

MILK Education is partnering with a local primary school in North Liverpool that is seeking an experienced Nursery Nurse / EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team. The role involves working in their pre-school class for 2-4-year-olds and another nursery class.

The school operates Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and features sensory and outdoor learning environments.

Previous experience working with children (Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar) is required.

As a Nursery Practitioner / EYFS Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

1. Supporting children with phonics in small groups and one-to-one sessions – full training provided.
2. Delivering high-quality activities and experiences tailored to the individual needs and interests of the children.
3. Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress and development using the EYFS framework.
4. Supporting children’s social and emotional development and promoting positive behaviour.
5. Following EYFS policies and procedures, ensuring the health and safety of children and staff.
6. Having eligibility to work in the UK or being a UK resident.
7. Providing two suitable references from the last 3 months or more.
8. Demonstrating qualities such as drive, kindness, enthusiasm, imagination, and commitment.
