Rate: £90 to £110 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner in Seaford, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children in their early years. Working closely with colleagues and families, you will help create a nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to explore.

Key Responsibilities of Nursery Practitioner:

  • Support Early Years Development: Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
  • Ensure Child Welfare: Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment, adhering to safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.
  • Build Positive Relationships: Foster strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Observe and Record Progress: Monitor and document children’s development, sharing insights with parents and colleagues.
  • Encourage Independence: Support children in developing confidence, communication, and social skills.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work effectively with other staff to ensure a cohesive and inclusive approach to childcare.

Requirements of Nursery Practitioner:

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment: A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Competitive Pay: Daily rate of £90 to £110, based on experience and qualifications.
