Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Practitioner to join a supportive and welcoming early years team in Cirencester. The setting is well-established and dedicated to providing the best start for children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will deliver high-quality childcare and early years education, supporting a small group of key children while contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Supporting children’s learning and development through tailored opportunities.
• Building strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and needs.
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and child protection at all times.

What we are looking for

• Previously worked as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Educator, Nursery Assistant or in a similar role.
• Qualified at Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years (Level 3 training available for Level 2 candidates).
• Experience in childcare, with a strong understanding of early childhood development.
• Enthusiastic, caring, and committed to providing the best start for children.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to create engaging, child-centred learning experiences.
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
