Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Practitioner with 1 year experience to join a well-established nursery school.

This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £26,190 - £26,800 for 41.25 hours work week.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support children's development through engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Plan and deliver creative learning opportunities that encourage progress across all areas of development.
  2. Prioritise the safety, wellbeing and individual needs of each child.
  3. Maintain clear and accurate records of children's development, sharing updates with senior staff as required.
  4. Foster strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  5. Provide a safe, nurturing environment that promotes learning and exploration.
  6. Collaborate with team members to maintain an inclusive and stimulating setting.

What we are looking for:

  1. Previously worked as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Educator, Nursery Assistant or in a similar role.
  2. At least 1 year experience working in a nursery.
  3. Level 2 / Level 3 or equivalent qualification in childcare.
  4. Understanding of the EYFS framework.
  5. Current DBS check or willingness to obtain it.
