Sunshine Nursery is seeking a warm, caring Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly, supportive team in the United Kingdom. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel confident to explore and learn, with a focus on individual development and strong family partnerships.

The role involves planning engaging activities, supporting holistic development, ensuring safeguarding, and contributing to a high standard of care and education across EYFS.

Qualificações

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• At least 2 years' experience working with young children in a nursery, childcare or educational setting.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Experience of supporting or managing a nursery room and creating an effective learning environment.
• The ability to recognise and respond to children's individual interests, needs and stages of development.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children.

Responsabilidades

• Create a safe, happy, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to explore, learn and develop.
• Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities based on children's interests and needs.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, communication and cognitive development through play and purposeful learning.
• Support EYFS delivery and assist children with achieving individual next steps.
• Observe and document learning progress and plan meaningful experiences.
• Create an organized, welcoming learning environment and build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Work as part of a friendly team to maintain high standards of care and education.
• Promote inclusion, equality, kindness and respect; uphold safeguarding and health and safety.

What You'll Be Doing:

You will help create a safe, happy, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel confident to explore, learn and develop.

Your role will include:

• Planning and delivering fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities based on children's interests and individual needs.
• Supporting children's social, emotional, physical, communication and cognitive development through play and purposeful learning.
• Supporting the delivery of the EYFS and helping children achieve their individual next steps.
• Observing and documenting children's learning and development and using this information to plan meaningful experiences.
• Creating an exciting, well-organised and welcoming learning environment.
• Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive team to provide consistently high standards of care and education.
• Promoting inclusion, equality, kindness and respect at all times.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, cleanliness and safeguarding.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is warm, caring and genuinely passionate about Early Years.

You will need:

• A minimum Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• At least 2 years' experience working with young children in a nursery, childcare or educational setting.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Experience of supporting or managing a nursery room and creating an effective learning environment.
• The ability to recognise and respond to children's individual interests, needs and stages of development.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children.
• Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, SEND/SENCO and Food Hygiene qualifications are desirable/required where applicable. If you don't currently hold all of these, we can discuss the training requirements with you.
