Our Pippins Montessori and Forest School Day Nursery in White Colne, East of Braintree District, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a Nursery Practitioner (Maternity cover) with Level 2 or above in Early Years to join our team. You’ll be working to care for, support, share stories, and have fun to meet the needs of our children.

PLEASE NOTE: this is to cover maternity leave.

What will you be doing:

• Promote high standards of quality in the nursery environment, resources, and experiences.
• Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children.
• Provide rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to children’s age and stage.
• Support children’s activities and prepare engaging experiences.
• Maintain effective management of the environment in the absence of the Team/Room Leader.
• Ensure practice aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Support and mentor students and unqualified staff to ensure high-quality childcare.
