Job summary

Teach Plus are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Lambeth that is looking to appoint a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its Early Years team as soon as possible. The role requires a caring and enthusiastic approach to support children's learning through play-based activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will promote communication and independence, work closely with the EYFS team and daily routines, and contribute to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 childcare or Early Years qualification is essential.
• Experience in a Nursery, EYFS or primary school setting is desirable.
• Understanding of EYFS framework and child development.

Responsibilities

• Support children within the Nursery setting.
• Deliver and assist with age-appropriate, play-based activities.
• Promote children's communication, language and social development.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive relationships.
• Support observations and assessments of children's development.
• Work alongside the class teacher and other Early Years staff.
• Help maintain a safe, engaging and well-organised environment.
• Support daily routines, transitions and children's wellbeing.
• Adapt support to meet children's individual needs.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies.

About the role and school

Teach Plus are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Lambeth that is looking to appoint a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its Early Years team as soon as possible.

The school is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who understands the importance of early childhood development and can help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

The successful candidate will support children's learning through play-based activities, encourage communication and independence, and work closely with the wider EYFS team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking to develop their experience within a primary school setting.

• Reliable, proactive and organised
• Passionate about supporting children's early learning and development
