Job description

Ready to further your Childcare career? Looking for that job security in unprecedented times? Are you the person our settings are seeking?

Bright Kids was established in 1999 and since has been delivering high quality childcare. We are currently in search of motivated, happy, enthusiastic individuals who can bring passion, creativity, laughter and learning into our beautiful authentic homely environments across the West Midlands to support our wonderful little Einstein’s.

We are seeking candidates who are Level 3 (or above!) qualified in Early Years (newly qualified applicants are welcome) for our setting in Northfield, Birmingham.

As a Nursery Practitioner your main responsibility will be supporting the development of the children within the provision by providing an excellent range of activities in a stimulating environment covering the EYFS curriculum.

The Bright Kids brand prides itself on the training, support, and progression it offers its employees. Working with us, you can expect to receive high-quality, up-to-date training from our in-house, sister company, MBK Group. This training is not only the basic required (e.g. Paediatric First Aid) but also training that will broaden your knowledge (e.g. Preparing for your EIF Inspection / Let them Loose with Natural Materials). Alongside our training, you will also have access to a Health Cash Plan scheme, the opportunity for flexible working, bonuses throughout the year and subsidised childcare. The subsidised childcare offers 50% off childcare fees for fee paying staff members until funded hours are provided. At this point the discount becomes 25% off any remaining nursery fees after the funded hours are deducted. First month nursery fees are free of charge (please note if a successful probationary period is not completed, this monthly fee will be owed to the nursery).

While our positions are ideally full-time on a rotating shift pattern between 7.30am-6.00pm Monday to Friday, we are happy to discuss part time and flexible working pattern options.

Salary: Up to £26,400.00 per annum. Subject to experience, qualification held and includes attendance bonus scheme.

Location: Norman Road, Northfield, Birmingham, B31 2EW

Benefits include: Health Cash Plan, Bonuses, Uniform, Company Pension, Flexible Working, Subsidised Childcare, Additional Birthday Holiday after 1 year, Long-service holiday entitlements available, Company events, Access to wellbeing and mental health first aiders, Comprehensive learning and development plans and readily available access to a range of training courses, Quarterly team target awards including team meals, shopping vouchers, additional holidays and team treats.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to commencement.

We have a shared commitment to develop a culture of respect, where discrimination is not tolerated. We welcome all applications, including those from under-represented groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion.
